Research directions I'm looking for students on
- New thermophysiological models of human thermal comfort.
- Connecting data science with human physiology and the built environment.
- Occupant-centric control of building systems.
- Thermal comfort and heat resilience in vulnerable settings (e.g. nursing homes).
If your interests overlap with one of these, mention it explicitly when you contact me.
Funding
Funding options vary by background — e.g. university scholarships, industry-sponsored PhDs, or your home country's scholarship schemes. Contact me and we can explore what fits your situation.

Funding
Joint grant applications are welcome — national and international schemes both apply depending on the partners involved (e.g. Australian researchers can now participate in Horizon Europe alongside domestic schemes such as the NHMRC). Let's discuss what's the best fit once we've scoped a project together.
